How I set my fares
Day, night, call-out, waiting, minimum, and your own items.
The fares are yours and you set them once: they follow you at every operator you work with. You will find them in the profile settings, under Fares.
- Day and night rate, per kilometre
- Call-out charge
- Waiting time, per hour
- Minimum fare
- Any extra items you add yourself
On jobs an operator sends you, its own pricing policy may apply: in that case the price you see on the job is theirs, and your own fares stay yours all the same.
Before settling on the numbers, work out what a job costs you: fuel, depreciation, insurance, vehicle tax, tyres and your own hours. A fare that does not cover all of it is not competitive, it is a loss you have put off.
