How the price is worked out
An estimate, from the distance and the driver’s fare.
The price you see before booking is worked out from the fare of the driver you chose and the distance of the route. It is made up of a call-out charge, the charge per kilometre and, where there is one, a minimum fare.
The fare can differ between day and night, and it is the driver who sets which hours are which. If the journey involves waiting, waiting is charged by the hour at their rate.
It is an estimate and should be read as one. The real route can differ from the one worked out, and in a taxi with a meter the meter is what counts.
