The driver and passenger apps
In the passenger app the request does not pass across a desk: whoever books sees the drivers’ offers for their run, with name, vehicle, price and minutes, and picks one. What is different from the platforms we know is not the absence of choice, it is who makes the price and who is on the list, because every offer belongs to a professional affiliated to a real operator.
On the driver side the request arrives with everything written down: where it starts, where it ends, what they take and what the operator keeps. There is nothing to interpret and nothing to find out afterwards, because the trust of whoever is driving is lost only once.
The operator stays at the centre even when it touches nothing: the customer goes into its records, the commission accrues, and pre-booked jobs go through it, because a job for six o’clock tomorrow needs somebody to take responsibility for it the night before.
