Opening the markets
From the first of January 2027 the platform is available in Italy, in Switzerland in both its languages, in France and in the United Kingdom. Four countries together are not an expansion announcement: they follow from how the product is built. It is the operator that declares its own licences and sets its own fares, and the journey record follows the rules of the place the work is done in, so there is no version to rewrite for each legal system.
The order of going live is settled and does not change: first the territory partners, one per area, then the operators who signed up in the preceding months, in the order they signed up. People who put their neck out when we were a promise do not end up in the queue behind those who turn up once it is all done.
Four markets do not mean four identical markets, though. Who issues the licences changes, the vocabulary of the trade changes, and what an operator takes for granted without having it explained changes. That is why each country has its own glossary and its own content, and not a translation of the same page.
