Affiliated fleets and institutional partners

Coming

The contracts that really count, the ones with hospitals and public bodies, have volumes one operator rarely covers alone. The problem is not winning them, it is honouring them on a Tuesday morning when the dialysis runs and the discharges fall in the same hour. Affiliated fleets are needed, to pass the overflow to.

Compliance is not the missing piece: what comes onto UrbanGo are operators, an operator without a licence is unlawful in itself, and every driver is signed up and answered for by theirs. What is missing is capacity, and that is a different thing. This is where the way to hand work to another fleet gets added, without the contract changing hands.

Because the contract stays with whoever signed it, and so does the responsibility: if an affiliate does not turn up, it is the operator that answers to the hospital. That is why co-ordinating a network is not a price list, it is knowing at every moment who can take on what.

It is the part that turns an operator from a single supplier into the co-ordinator of a network, which is exactly the position the international platforms hold today.
