The terms written before the code

The general terms of business came before most of the product was written. It is not the order almost anybody chooses, but if a model has to sit inside the rules, those rules have to be read first: adapting afterwards means doing it again.

The choices that then defined the product ended up in the terms, and not the other way round. The driver sets the fare. The driver takes the price of the journey from the passenger. The platform retains a commission, and that is the only thing that passes through us.
